I can just picture him being the kind of guy who would do whatever it takes to make sure this garden classic was front and center in the proposal, because some things, like peonies outside of peak bloom, are worth every penny.

I assumed it was a professional job, given the depth of detail in each image and the way the moment was captured — you would need a serious zoom lens for that, because it looks like they were sharing such a private, intimate moment. Every glance, every hand touch, every smile is frozen perfectly, and it truly feels like we’re witnessing something timeless.

The Instagram post itself was adorable. The announcement read: “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married 🧨” alongside Taylor’s song So High School, from The Tortured Poets Department, inspired by their romance. The combination of the announcement, the music, and the imagery captures the authenticity and intimacy of their relationship beautifully.
