Our Story

Blooming Roza is owned and run by two close friends, Maisie and Judy. Brought together by a shared love of flowers, floristry, arts and crafts, we’ve built a business rooted in creativity and friendship. Our name, Blooming Roza (Róża – meaning rose in Polish), reflects our heritage – half English, half Polish – and our love for all things floral and blooming with beauty.

Creatives that clicked

Our journey began in 2018 while we were both studying at The University of Kent and Canterbury Christ Church University, and working together at a holiday park in Swalecliffe, Kent. Despite juggling bar shifts and entertainment events to support our studies, we quickly bonded over our shared passion for creating event styling plans – crafting décor and building displays. It was clear our creative energies were in sync! That same year, as Maisie planned her wedding, she asked Judy to create her flowers – a request that unknowingly laid the foundation for our business.

Fast forward a few years, and we were designing wedding flowers, styling tables, and making handmade touches for each other’s weddings. Once we’d both said “I do,” we realised we wanted to help others say it too – surrounded by beautiful blooms and thoughtful styling. And so, Blooming Roza was born.

Now, alongside weddings, we provide flowers and services for a range of occasions including birthdays, anniversaries, proposals, baby showers, and other celebrations as well as get well soon arrangements and funerals.

Farewell Flowers, Made with Love

Both of us have experienced significant personal loss and can empathise with people going through similar moments in their own lives. We understand the complexity of grief – trying to find a way to show love when words felt impossible. Creating something beautiful became our way of honouring those we’ve lost, and it’s what we now offer to others.

We know how important a floral tribute can be when saying goodbye. Whether it’s a simple, elegant arrangement or something deeply personal, we handle every funeral order with care, compassion, and respect. It’s an honour to help families create meaningful goodbyes through flowers.

Small Business, Personal Touch

Every arrangement, every bouquet, every event is handled with love. Whether we’re creating something deeply emotional for a funeral, something joyful for an anniversary, or simply delivering a bunch of blooms just because, we bring heart and care to everything we do.

We adore working with clients on all of life’s big (and small) moments – birthdays, proposals, weddings, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas, or saying goodbye to a loved one. For us, floristry is about memory-making.

Order to Your Door

We’re proud to be living room florists with big dreams. While we work toward having a studio space one day, right now we offer a friendly, local delivery service for orders over £40.

We deliver across:

•Camber near Rye, and surrounding Sussex areas

•Whitstable near Canterbury, plus Herne Bay, Faversham and the surrounding Kent coast

Wherever you are in the South East, we’re happy to travel and bring your flowers directly to your door/venue.*
