Me and my team do a lot of weddings and events at Blooming Roza and one thing I noticed is that we always have left over Candle Wax from a lot of our bookings. The average person may consider putting this in the bin, but as you know I am a waste not, want not kind of person. The less I can put into landfill the better.

In 2025 I set myself the project of thinking of a way to reuse our left over wax and bingo, wax melts with dried floral details. This meant we could not only keep our leftover wax away from landfill, but we could also dry and use a range of our floral cut offs when we prune flowers and foliage for our designs. How very exciting!

All wax melts meet UK safety standards. I was really passionate about finding the right scent supplier and I stumbled across Nikura, a UK based business with similar values to my own. Nikura’s premium oils are certified by the international fragrance association. In addition, they are ethically sourced, vegan and cruelty free and 100% pure and natural.

They make my wax melts smell amazing, the scent throw is long lasting for several uses and the aromatic smell is divine.
